Singapore has convened a new committee to review safety across Islamic-religious institutions. It will look at strengthening safeguards for minors, including oversight of informal and online religious guidance. Led by Associate Professor Razwana Begum and Ustaz Fathurrahman Dawoed, the group is expected to publish its findings before the end of the year.
