Some car dealers in Singapore say mass-market models that qualify for rebates under the proposed merging of COE Categories A and B could lose some of their resale value. Meanwhile, proposed surcharges on higher-end cars could drive more buyers towards used premium ones. The industry association says dealers could also take a hit on cars already in their stock, as the market adjusts. Charlotte Lim reports.
