Existing political office holders will get an up to 9 per cent one-off increase in their salaries, said Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in parliament on Tuesday (Sep 8). He made the announcement during his ministerial statement on the government’s response to the review of salaries for political appointment holders and MPs.
