Reform would slash £40bn of spending in one Budget, the party's treasury spokesperson Robert Jenrick says. Speaking to Anne McElvoy, Mr Jenrick defended plans to cut benefits and welfare payments, saying "the country is broke right now". He also attacked the makers of an ITV exposé which caught members of Reform making racist and offensive comments.
