Both Labor and the Coalition are criticising One Nation's migration plan with both sides raising concerns about the economic impact. The minor party wants to slash migration by more than 750,000 people over three years in a move it says would deliver net-negative overseas migration. Environment and water minister Murray Watt says the policy would 'kill the Australian economy' and have a significant impact on regional areas and the agriculture sector. Deputy opposition leader Jane Hume says the plan lacks details and doesn't include modelling about the implications.
