Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei has urged "frontier" companies to slow the rate at which they improve the capabilities of AI models as the technology has been "advancing drastically faster" since the summer. But with no global approach on how to keep AI under control, some countries are reluctant to slow the pace of progression, for fear that they get left behind. Sky's Rob Harris reports.
