The French government has suspended the use of stun grenades by police in school protests, as it appeals to students to go back to the classroom. Interior Minister Laurent Nunez has temporarily halted the use of the grenades after a 15-year-old's hand was blown off by a grenade fired by riot police near a school in Northern France.
