Western Sydney Airport CEO discusses outlook for flights and public transport

Western Sydney International Airport has welcomed its first international passengers after an Air New Zealand flight touched down at the city’s new airport. The complex is expected to be connected to 150 destinations in over a year, with Singapore Airlines, Fiji Airways, VietJet Air, Qantas and Qatar Airways to operate services through WSI. Western Sydney airport CEO Simon Hickey says the facility was built with a vision towards the future as demand from Western Sydney residents will drive the growth of the airport.
