The family of the suspect in the so-called "Putney pusher" case has denied he was responsible and claimed he "took his own life" due to the police investigation. Nicholas Brandram 44, was found dead at his home in Chiswick, west London. He was arrested in June this year on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. Police launched an appeal in 2017 after a woman was pushed headfirst into the bus lane and the path of an oncoming bus on Putney Bridge.
